| Chief Justice of the Supreme Court | John Robeerts: leader of the court; larger part in selecting cases the court will hear |
| Associate Justice of the Supreme Court | 8 other justices who vote on the cases they want to hear. They vote on the verdicts of the cases and they write the opinions or reasons why the court decided the way they did. |
| Executive Order | Issued by the President to the Executive Departments to complete or follow a specific course of action. |
| Executive Pardon | President can change or remove a sentence of a convicted person, can stop the death penalty being used, or release people from prison who have broken federal crimes. |
