QuestionAnswer
What does complicicy mean? This is when you can be criminaly liable for someone else's conduct.
What are the four parties to a crime? Principals in the first degree, Principals in the second degree, Accessories before the fact, accessories after the fact.
Accomplices participate when Before and during the crime
What are the two types of attempt statutes? General attempt statute and specific attempt statute
What is legal impossibility? The defense that what the actor attempted was not a crime.
What is voluntary abandonment? The defendant clearly intended to commit the crime but changed their mind and abandonded the idea.
Define conspiracy Agreeing with one or more people to commit a crime.
What are the two types of conspiracies? Wheel conspiracy and chain conspiracy.
Define solicitation. The crime of trying to get someone else to commit a crime.
How many states follow the born-alive rule? 18 states
Define feticide The crime. of killing a fetus
How many states have the feticide crime? 24 states.
What are the three kinds of homocide? Justifiable, excusable, and criminal.
