Collaborative Approaches Focus highly on cooperative and collaborative working in order to bring about action and change.
Phenomenology A research approach that attempts to uncover what several participants who experience a phenomenon have in common.
Ethnography The study of people, cultures, and values.
Grounded Theory A research approach that focuses on interaction, action, and processes.
Evaluation An evaluative approach examines processes, experiences, and outcomes.
Narrative An approach that allows researchers to pursue the goal of studying the human experience.
Pragmatic Best-suited for providing the descriptive information that can inform professional practices.
Autoethnography A form of autobiographical narrative that explores the writer's own experiences, stories, and self-narratives to examine and connect with the social context.
Action Research A method of intervention, development and change that is conducted within communities and groups.
Arts-Based Use arts to explore , understand, and represent human action and experience.
Case Study A particular situation or instance that the researchers will investigate.
