Word Processing A softwear that shares and prints documents.

Make a Copy Make an exact duplicate of a Google Doc. It will say “Copy of….” in front of the copied document.
Download Convert your Google Doc into a compatible Microsoft Word document and Portable Document Format (PDF). A PDF cannot be edited or changed.
Version History Allows you to access previous edits and changes made to doc.
Move Move your document to a new location (folder) in your Drive.
Underline line under text
Italicize slanted
Cut Removes the selection to be pasted somewhere else on the document
Copy and paste Duplicated the selection to be pasted somewhere else on the document.
Paste Without Formatting Copies text while stripping away all original formatting, such as font style, color, size, and hyperlinks, so that the text appears with the default style of the destination document
Share Give others access to edit, comment, or view your Google Doc
New Create a blank doc
Open Retrieve a doc from Drives
Increase Font increase font size
Print & Print Preview Make your doc a paper copy by clicking the print command.
Rename Give your document a new name. To do this, click the name in the top left corner and type.
Decrease Font decrease font size
Page Color A setting within the Page setup menu that allows you to change the background color for the entire document
Font Color The color of the text
Capitalization change the selected text between different types of capitalization
Highlight A background color applied to a piece of selected text to make it stand out and emphasize it
Superscript text above baseline
Subscript text below baseline

Bullets symbols in front of a list

Share Give others access to edit, comment, or view your Google Doc
Viewer Permission to read and view a document, but not to edit or change it
Commenter Permission to view a file and add comments or suggestions but cannot edit the content or change the file's settings
Editor Permission to allow them to directly modify the file

Shading fills text boxes.
Borders puts a line around text and images
Find & Replace Find a word or phrase in your document and replace it with another word or phrase
Select All Select all content in the document
Table A table is a grid of rows and columns that organizes complex information so that it is easy to find and understand.
Rows A horizontal line of data in a table, or a single record within a dataset
Columns Change your document to one, two, or three columns.
Cells The basic rectangular unit for storing data, formed by the intersection of a column and a row
Word Count Find out how many pages, words, and characters are used on your document
Image/Online Pictures Insert an image into your doc from your computer, the web, Drive, URL, or camera.
Word Art Curved text, or 3D shapes
Shapes A document element defined by a geometric form
Drawing Insert a new Google Drawing or a Google Drawing from your Drive.
Charts A chart is defined as a diagram that illustrates and compares data.
Hyperlink Copy a website link and attach it to a text-friendly word or phrase
Headers Text at the very top and very bottom of your document.
Footers Text at the very bottom of your document.
Page Numbers A number based on the page
Text Box A shape that allows you to place and style text independently of the main document flow (drawing)
Page Orientation Portrait and Landscape
Special Characters/Symbols Insert characters that are not numbers or letters present on your keyboard
Margins 1 inch (or 2.54 cm) on all four sides (top, bottom, left, and right)
Landscape A page orientation where the page is wider than it is tall
Portrait A page orientation where the vertical dimension is longer than the horizontal dimension
Spelling/Grammar Check Correct spelling and grammar within your document
Undo Removes the action just done.
Redo Adds the last action that was deleted back into the document
Zoom The act of zooming in on a document (making the text or image larger) in various applications like Google Docs
Format Painter A tool that lets you copy the formatting of one section of text and apply it to another
Clear Formatting Removes all text formatting.
Help Use this search menu to type in any command and apply it in your document
