Biopsy A procedure where a small sample of tissue is taken from the body to examine for disease
Benign: A term used to describe a condition, tumor, or growth that is not cancerous
Edema Swelling caused by excess fluid trapped in the body's tissues
Fracture: A break in bone or cartilage
Malignant: Indicates the presence of cancerous cells that can grow and spread to other parts of the body
Sutures: Stitches used to close wounds or surgical incisions
Freckles are small, flat, brownish spots on the skin
Anemia Low red blood cell count or hemoglobin level
Chronic Long-lasting or recurring condition
Malignant Harmful; often refers to cancerous growths
Acute Sudden onset of symptoms, often severe but short-lived
Chronic Long-lasting or recurring condition
Inflammation Body’s response to injury or infection, often causing redness and swelling
Hypotension Low blood pressure
