common stock stock other than preferred stock
preferred stock stock guaranteed priority by a corporation's charter over common stock in the payment of dividends and usually in the distribution of assets
corporate bond a debt security issued by a company to raise capital
government bond an investment where an individual lends money to a government, which uses the funds to finance projects or manage debt
beneficiary a person or thing that receives help or an advantage from something
executor the person appointed by a testator to execute a will
trust assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something
estate social standing or rank especially of a high order
will a legal document that outlines what happens to a business after the owner dies, ensuring its continuity and protecting the owner's family
power of attorney a legal instrument authorizing one to act as the attorney or agent of the grantor
investment liquidity the ability to convert an asset into cash quickly without losing significant value
probate the action or process of proving before a competent judicial authority that a document offered for official recognition and registration as the last will and testament of a deceased person is genuine
personal financial planning is the process of managing your money to achieve your personal financial goals
estate planning the arranging for the disposition and management of one's estate at death through the use of wills, trusts, insurance policies, and other devices
