Envy (noun) A feeling of jealousy brought on by someone else's possessions, qualities, or luck.
Awe (noun) A feeling of respect mixed with fear and wonder.
Tottering (verb) To be unsteady or off-balance.
Tacky (adj.) Showing poor taste; out-of-fashion; over-the-top style.
Earnest (adj.) Kind and honest.
Sidle (verb) To walk shyly up to someone or thing from the side.
Cower (verb) To crouch down in fear.
Oppress (verb) To hold someone back from achieving their full potential by controlling them.
Audition (verb) To perform in order to obtain a part in a play.
Hands (noun) (stagehand): A person who moves scenery or props during the performance of a play.
Dictate (verb) Determine or deciding factor of a decision.
Murmurs (noun) Soft, indistinct sounds.
Lurch (verb) Quick and uncontrolled movement.
Cadence (noun) Rhythm of speaking.
Furrow (verb) To wrinkle the forehead due to anxiety, frowning, or concentration.
