Abiotoc factors- non living parts of an ecosystem:example: soil, rocks, water , pH, salinity , temperature
biodiversity -- the variety of plants , animals , etc . in a given area
biome- a large geographic area with a similar climate that consists of many ecosystems
biosphere- all the combined biomes on earth where organisms can survive
biotic factors - the living organisms in an ecosystem
community- all the different population of different species living in the same place at the same time
ecologist - a scientist who studies the relationship between living organisms and their environment
ecology- the study of the relationships between living organisms and there inviroment
ecosystem- a community of living organisms plus their nonliving enviroment
habitat- the place where an organism lives
niche- an organisms role in its ecosystem
organism - an individual living thing ; examples: a mouse, an ant, a mountain lion
population- a group of organisms of the same species that live in the same place at the same time
species - a group of similar organisms that can interbreed and produce fertile offspring
