Face Validity Does it "make sense" to someone who doesn't necessarily know all of the ends and outs? If it does then it has a good face validity. If not then it has a poor face validity.
Content Validity If the content is not accurately measuring someone's depression, the method being used would have poor _____ ______.
External Validity Is about whether the findings of a study can be applied to the real world or other situations. It depends on things like who was in the study and how the research was done.
Reliability Refers to how consistent a method is at measuring something. Toyota truck
Construct Depression, we can't observe someone who is depressed and accurately measure it. As a result we need to use other means to accurately measure someone's level of depression.
Validity Is this method valid/accurate at measuring what I want this method to measure
Quasi Experiment Means kinda sorta-not really- (control group) like a study of PTSD. Non random critera.
Experimental Design True Experiment: Researcher assigns the participant's into control group or experimental group.
Single Subject Research Design Focuses on the individual/single behavior, NOT a group of people.
Interrator Reliability: Think of intepreter since they are interpreting something based off their perspective.
Parallel Form The different form of measurement are pallel with one another meaning they are going in the same directions.
Test-Retest Relibility: The person/people are being tested, then retested to see if the outcomes are similiar or not.
