ratio comparison of 2 numeric values
proportion 2 ratios set equal (they ARE equal)
mean a measure of central tendency that represents the average of a data set
geometric mean the central number in a geometric progression, also calculable as the nth root of a product of n numbers
scale drawing a reduced or enlarged representation of an object that is proportional to the original
similar polygons have the same shape but not necessarily the same size
scale factor a number that is used to determine the size of a new, scaled object compared to an original one
