TermDefinition
Dependability Suggest that research findings will endure over time.
Transferability The degree to which the results of research can apply or transfer beyond the bounds of the project.
Credibility The quality of being believed or accepted as true, real, or honest.
Confirmability The extent to which the findings are based on the study's participants and settings instead of researcher bias.
Credibility / Truth Mark Twain said it best, "If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything".
Confirmability / Non-Example There are two types of facts - those that support my opinion and inconclusive.
