Transformation Of Energy

QuestionAnswer
Chemical Energy Energy that can be released or stored in chemical processes.
Circuit A path electricity can flow through.
Electrical Energy Energy that comes from the movement of electric charges (electrons).
Energy Transformation When energy changes from one form to another, like electrical energy turning into light or heat.
Closed Circuit A complete path that allows electricity to flow.
Open Circuit A broken path that stops electricity from flowing.
Light Energy Energy that can be seen by the human eye.
Sound Energy Energy that moves in a pattern of particle vibrations and can be transmitted through an object or substance.
System A group of related objects that is organized and functions together to make a whole.
Thermal Energy The energy that comes from the movement of tiny particles (atoms or molecules) in matter. The faster the particles move, the warmer something is.
