Armistice An agreement between opposing sides in a war to stop fighting; a truce.
Bond A certificate sold by the government to raise money for the war effort.
Canteen An internal restaurant stocked and operated by an organization like military camps, factory, or college.
Faction A group within a larger organization or structure that is often in conflict with the larger body
Millitarialism Emphasizing military strength and preparedness
Prosthetic An artificial body part
Ration Splitting something among many people
Stalemate A situation in which any farther action is unlikely impossible; dead lock.
