Ball and Socket SJ One bone has a rounded “ball” end that fits into a cup-like “socket” of another bone.
Ball and Socket SJ shoulder & hip
Shoulder joint Glenohumeral joint; between head of humeral and glenoid cavity
Shoulder joint largest ROM joint
Elbow joint uniaxial (one plane) movement hinge joint; bends (flexion) & straightens (extensions) the arm
Elbow joint between humerus' trochlea & ulna's trochlear notch
