Calibrate To standard something by determining the deviation from a standard to correct errors.
Precision The degree to which repeated measurements show the same result.

Through Hole A hole that has the same diameter along its length and passes completely through the object.
Blind Hole A hole that is drilled to a specific depth that does not pass completely through the object.
Accuracy The degree of closeness of measurements of a quantity to the actual value.
Dial capilar A measuring measurement with two adjustable jaws typically used to measurement diameter or thickness.

Title block A template that gives general information about drawing.
Detail view A projected view that shows a specific portion of a view at an enlarged view.
Annotation An object that provides information about a feature.
Sectional view A type of drawing used to reveal the internal features of an object that are not visible from the outside.
Construction lines A lightly drawn line to guide drawing other lines and shapes.
Object line A heavy solid line used on a drawing to represent the outline of the object.
Hidden line A heavy dashed line that represents an edge that is not directly visible.
Center line A line that defines the center of arcs, circles or symmetrical parts.
Cutting plane line A thick broken line with arrows that indicate the location of an imaginary cutting plane and the view direction used to create a sectional view of an object.
Section lines The lines used in a section view to indicate where the cutting plane line has cut through material.
Measureable Able to be measured. Needs precise indicator of a quantifiable characteristic.
