A swimming pool is 25 m long, 10 m wide, and 2 m deep. What is its volume in liters? Volume = 25 × 10 × 2 = 500 m³ 1 m³ = 1,000 L Total = 500 × 1,000 = 500,000 liters
A container has 3.6 L of juice. You pour it equally into 9 glasses. How much juice is in each glass in milliliters? 3.6 L = 3,600 mL Each glass = 3,600 ÷ 9 = 400 mL
rope is 3.5 m long. It is cut into pieces of 45 cm each. How many full pieces can be cut, and how much rope is left? 3.5 m = 350 cm 350 ÷ 45 = 7 full pieces, remainder = 350 – (7 × 45) = 35 cm left
