What is th main cause of exterior cough? External Wind Wind penerates the skin and Wei Qi portion which is controlled by the Lungs Impairs the descending of Lung Qi and causes cough

What is a frequent emotional cause of cough? Worry, it affects Lungs directly and knots Qi, preventing the descending of Lung Qi
Prolonged anger, frustration or resentment lead to… LIVER QI Stagnation……long period of time to LIVER FIRE which may invade the Lungs and prevent the descending of Lung Qi thus causing COUGH.
A diet of excessive consumption of sweets, greasy and diary foods may lead to formation of… PHLEGM It settles in the Lungs and prevents LU Qi from descending, causes a COUGH with profuse expectoration
Excessive consumption of hot spicy foods, alcohol and fried-greasy foods leads to formation of….. HEAT and PHLEGM
Chronic illness affects the Lungs, weakens Lung Qi and may also affect Lung Yin therefore…. Deficient Lung Qi fails to descends causing chronic cough of Empty Type
