cogent (adjective) convincing or believable by virtue of forcible, clear, or incisive presentation; telling.
destitute (adjective) without means of subsistence; lacking food, clothing, and shelter.
embark (verb) to board a ship, aircraft, or other vehicle, as for a journey.
exhilarate (verb) to enliven; invigorate; stimulate.
fallow (adjective) plowed and left unseeded for a season or more; uncultivated.
feasible (adjective) capable of being done, effected, or accomplished.
intimation (noun) the act of intimating, or making known indirectly.
martinet (noun) a strict disciplinarian, especially a military one.
