scientific method a body of techniques for investigating phenomena, acquiring new knowledge, or correcting and integrating previous knowledge.
steps of the scientific method are... make an observation, ask a question, form a hypothesis, conduct an experiment, analyze the data and draw a conclusion, replicate the experiment,
observe employ the 5 senses to interact with phenomena and record the findings
classify arrange living and nonliving things based on attributes
predict make assumptions based on evidence
hypothesize state a prediction based on evidence
investigate conduct experiments
