What did the Proclamation of 1763 say? Colonists could not move west of the Appalachian Mountains

Why did Britain begin to tax the colonists in the 1760s? to pay for the French & Indian War
Why did the American colonists unite to fight for independence form Great Britain and form a new nation? They wanted to be free from British taxes and laws

Why did the American colonists create a weak national government? they didn't want to government to be too strong (like Great Britain)
