TermDefinition
History The study of the past
Historian A person who studies and write about the past
Source Something that give us information about the the past /like a letter 'photo etc
Primary source A source made at the time of the event / newspaper from 1916 or a photo
Secondary source a source made after the event /a history book or a documentary
Bias when a source gives only one side of a story or is unfair
Propaganda information used to make people believe something-often used by governments
Evidence facts or clue that help historians find out what really happened
Archive a place where important document and record are stored
Museum a place where old object and artefacts are kept and shown to the public
Chronology putting events in the order they happened in a time
BC BC means before christ
AD AD means Anno Domini/ Latin for in the year of our lord
Century 100 years /1900-1999=the 20th century
Decade 10 years
Oral history told by people through stories and memories, not written down
