Nasal (Left & Right) Bridge of the nose.
Sternum Central chest bone.
Manubrium Upper part of sternum.
Body Middle part of sternum.
Xyphoid Process Small, lower tip of sternum.
Radius Forearm bone on thumb side.
Ulna Forearm bone on pinky side.
Phalanges (singular: phalanx) Finger or toe bones.
Hallux Big toe bone.
Pollux Thumb bone.
Scapula Shoulder blade.
Tibia Shin bone, larger lower leg bone.
Fibula Smaller lower leg bone.
Pelvis Hip bones supporting spine and legs.
Ilium Upper, broad hip bone.
Ischium Lower, back part of hip bone.
Pubis Front part of hip bone.
Patella Knee cap.
Humerus Upper arm bone.
Rib Cage Bones protecting heart and lungs.
True Ribs (1-7) Directly attached to sternum.
False Ribs (8-10) Indirectly attached to sternum.
Floating Ribs (11-12) Not attached to sternum.
Vertebral Column Spine, supports body and protects spinal cord.
Cervical (C1-C7) Neck vertebrae.
Thoracic (T1-T12) Upper/mid-back vertebrae.
Lumbar (L1-L5) Lower back vertebrae.
Sacral (4 fused) Fused vertebrae at base of spine.
Coccyx (3-5 fused) Tailbone.
Carpals* Wrist bones.
Metacarpals Hand bones between wrist and fingers.
Femur Thigh bone, longest in body.
