Clostridium botulinum (botulism) Gram + bacilli (endospores) Muscle weakness and respiratory problems
Clostridium perfringens (gas gangrene) Gram + bacilli (endospores) Food poisioning (stomach problems/ diarrhea)
Clostridium tetani (tetanus) Gram + bacilli (endospores) Muscle rigidity and spasms (soil and animal excrements)
Corynebacterium diphtheria Gram + bacilli , sore throat fever and weakness (usually transmitted through droplets)
Escherichia coli Gram - bacilli, diarrhea, UTI's, fever, cramps ( transmitted through fecal-oral)
Mycobacterium tuberculosis Acid-fast , chestpain cough fever (inhalation)
