Weathering breakdown of rocks due to physical or chemical changes.
Physical weathering changes the size and/or shape of rocks
Frost action when water gets into cracks and freezes. the water freezing makes more vol. so the crack gets bigger.

Chemical weathering changes the mineral composition and forms new substances.

Striations scratches on bedrock made by glacier dragging rocks
Whaleback A rock knob shaped and plucked by moving ice.
