axon is the long, slender projection of a neuron that carries electrical impulses away from the cell body toward other neurons, muscles, or glands.
mitochondria function is? power house of the cell, breaks down carbs, fat & protein to form ATP
ATP adenosine Triphosphate energy of the cell
Golgi Aparatus produces, stores and packages secretions for discharge from the cell
Pinocytic Vesicles pocket like folds in the cell membrane which allow fats and protein molecules to enter the cell once inside the cell, the folds close to form ve
Acetylcholine a neurotransmitter, which means it’s a chemical messenger that carries signals between nerve cells and other types of cells, such as muscle cells.
tissue a group of similar cells that all develop together from the same part of the embryo & all perform a certain function
lysosomes digest proteins & fats breaks downs old cells bacteria & foreign materials important to immune system
