| Biconditional | The combination of a conditional statement and its converse. and contains the words "if and only if." |
| Conditional | An if-then statement that relates a hypothesis to a conclusion. |
| Contrapositive | A statement that negates and reverses the hypothesis and conclusion of a conditional. |
