| enamel hypocalcification | enamel that is not as dense as regular enamel |
| enamel hypoplasia | enamel that is thin or pitted |
| enamel pearls | small rounded elevations of enamel usually developing in the bifurcation or trifurcation of teeth, considered abnormal structures |
| eruptive stage | period of eruption from the completion of crown formation until the teeth come into occlusion |
