| Line Weight | The thickness of a line in a drawing to indicate importance or type. |
| Measurement | The process of determining the size, length, or amount of something. |
| Multiview Drawings | Drawings that show multiple views (front, top, side) of an object. |
| Object Line | A thick, dark line that shows the visible edges of an object. |
| Oblique Sketch | A 3D sketch where the front is flat and the sides are drawn at an angle |
| Orthographic Projection | A method of showing an object using several 2D views. |
| Perspective Sketch | A 3D drawing that shows depth as it appears to the eye. |
| Plane | A flat, two-dimensional surface. |
| Profile | The side view or outline of an object. |
| Projection Line | A line used to transfer measurements or points from one view to another. |
| Projection Plane | An imaginary flat surface onto which a view is projected. |
| Proportion | The relative size of parts of an object compared to the whole. |
| Scale | The ratio of a drawing’s size to the actual object’s size. |
