| word of mouth | When customers share their opinions about a business with friends or on social media. It can help spread good (or bad) news quickly. |
| guerilla marketing | Using surprise, creativity, or unusual places to promote a product or event in a fun and unexpected way. |
| advertising | Paid messages (like commercials, posters, or social media ads) created to get people interested in a product or service. |
| internal public relations | PR activities focused on people inside the business, like employees or volunteers. (Example: newsletters or employee appreciation events.) |
| external public relations | PR activities focused on people outside the business, like customers, the community, or the media. |
| press conference | A meeting where a company invites reporters to share important news or make an announcement. |
| press release or news release | A written statement sent to the media to share news or updates about a business, event, or product. |
