| Duty Free Port | A designated area, often near an international airport or seaport, where goods can be imported, stored, and processed without incurring customs duties and other taxes, provided they are ultimately exported again |
| Dynamic Packaging | The process of creating personalized, customizable travel or product packages by combining various components in real-time |
| Embassy | The official headquarters of a foreign country's diplomatic mission in a host country's capital city, led by an ambassador and staff |
| Exchange Rate | A relative price of one currency expressed in terms of another currency |
| Horizontal Integration | A business strategy where a company acquires or merges with another company that operates at the same level of the supply chain and offers similar products or services |
| Package Tourism | A type of holiday where several travel services, such as transportation, accommodation, and meals, are bundled together and sold for a single, fixed price |
| Passport | An official document issued by a government, certifying the holder's identity and citizenship and entitling them to travel under its protection to and from foreign countries |
| Tourist Destination | A location, such as a city, country, or region, that is marketed and visited by tourists for leisure, recreation, or cultural experiences |
| VAT | VAT (Value-Added Tax) is a consumption tax charged on goods and services at each stage of a travel-related transaction |
| Vertical Integration | A business strategy where a company controls multiple stages of its supply chain, from production to distribution |
| Visa | An endorsement on a passport indicating that the holder is allowed to enter, leave, or stay for a specified period of time in a country |
