What was the problem at the 1824 election? Andrew Jackson and John Quincy Adams were attending the election. Jackson didn’t have enough popular vote to win. Then it went down to the House, so everyone thought if Jackson had the most votes he win. John then somehow won. It became a corrupt bargain.
