3 things that happen in the Chapman Cycle? 1) O2 and O3 in the Stratosphere absorb UV from the Sun 2)UV breaks these molecules, leaving new chemical products 3) new products reform O2 &O3
How does the Ozone get destroyed? Use of Chlorofluorcarbons (CFC); responsible for Chapman Cycle destruction, net loss of O3
What is the Montreal Protocol? An international agreement to phase out CFCs that damage the ozone layer,
