Mean Average of all data values.
Median Middle value when data is ordered.
Mode Most frequently occurring value.
Variance Measure of data spread around mean.
Standard Deviation Square root of variance; measure of dispersion.
Z-Score Standardized value showing distance from mean in SDs.
Probability Chance of an event occurring (0–1).
Addition Rule P(A or B) = P(A) + P(B) − P(A and B).
Multiplication Rule P(A and B) = P(A) × P(B) for independent events.
Normal Distribution Symmetrical bell-shaped distribution of data.
Binomial Distribution Discrete distribution for two outcomes per trial.
Poisson Distribution Probability of rare events in fixed interval.
Histogram Graph showing frequency of data intervals.
Sampling Distribution Distribution of sample statistics from repeated samples.
Ethics in Statistics Accurate, honest data reporting and analysis.
