QuestionAnswer
Brand Name Trademark of a drug or device held by the originating manufacturing company.
Chemical Structure The makeup of a chemical, including elements, shape, bonding types, molecular configurations, charges, etc.
Drug Classification Categorization based on various characteristics.
Drug Facts and Comparisons Reference book found in pharmacies that contain detailed information on 22,000 prescription and 6,000 OTC drugs.
Formulary A list of approved drugs to be stocked by the pharmacy, list of drugs covered by insurance companies.
Generic Name Name assigned to a medication or nonproprietary name of drug.
Monograph Comprehensive information on a medications action within that class of drugs.
