Why is Toussaint L'Ouverture against Napoleon? Because Napoleon reinstates slavery.
What did Toussaint L'Ouverture want for his people and did he get it? He wanted St Domingue to be independent. Yes! Napoleons troops failed at rebelling.
What was the Congress of Vienna like? Conservative
What is Balance Of Power? So no country would be a threat to others, and give back power to original families.
What is Containment? Surround France with strong countries to prevent future problems.
What is Legitimacy The legitimate (real or OG) rulers should be restored to power to ensure stability in Europe
Why did Napoleon invade Russia? Russia violated the continental system by trading wheat with England.
What obstacles made it hard to invade Russia? Summer it was too hot, and in winter it was too cold.
What was the outcome of invasion of Russia for Napoleon? Many of his soldiers died, Napoleon is defeated.
How did Napoleon create nationalism? Spain was unhappy that Napoleon wanted to replace their leader with his brother (Joseph), so it made Spain realize that they love their culture and country and traditions just the way they are which Is called Nationalism.
