QuestionAnswer
Polemic a speech or piece of writing expressing a strongly critical attack on or controversial opinion about someone or something.
Propaganda information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote a particular cause, doctrine, or point of view.
Purpose the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.
Refutation the action of proving a statement or theory to be wrong or false.
Rhetoric the art of effective or persuasive speaking or writing, especially the use of figures of speech and other compositional techniques.
Rhetorical Triangle Ethos, Logos, Pathos
SOAPS Speaker, occasion, audience, purpose, subject
Speaker Person / voice of a literary voice (likely the author)
Subject The general topic, content, or main idea of the text. It is what the author is writing about.
Text anything that conveys a set of meanings to the person who examines it
