QuestionAnswer
independent clause can stand by its self of with a dependent,express a complet thought.Subject pluset predict (no conjustion)
dependent clause Cannot stand by itself.Do not express a complete thought.
simple sentence consist of single,independent clauses that have a subject.
compound sentence Joins two independent clauses with help of a comma.
complex sentence A single independent clause and dependent clause.
compound-complex Comdiens two or more independent clauses.
