Research Question

QuestionAnswer
Interrater Reliability Think of interpreter since they/re interpreting something based off their perspective.
Parallel Form The different forms of measurement are parallel with one another, meaning they're going in the same direction to measure the same thing.
Test Re-test Reliability The person/ people are being tested, then retested to see if the outcomes are similar or not.
Single Subject Research Design Focuses on the individual/single behavior, NOT a group of people.
Experimental Design True Experiment - Researcher randomly assigns the participants into control group or experimental group.
Quasi-Experimental Design Means kinda sorta, Not really (Control Study Group) like a PTSD. NOT RANDOM CRITERA
Validity Is this method accurate at measuring when (I want this 2 measure).
Construct Depression, we can't observe someone who is depressed and accurately measure it. As a result we need to use other means to accurately measure someone's level of depression.
Reliability Refers to how consistent a method is at measuring something. A toyota is considered a _____ car because it's consistant/dependable/ and reliable from point A to point B.
Face Validity Does it "make sense" to someone who doesn't necessarily know all of the ends and outs? If it does then it has good ____. If not then it has poor ______ ______.
Content Validity If the content is not accuretly measuring someone's depression, the method being used would have poor content validity.
External Validity Is about whether the findings of a study can be applied to the real world or other situations . It depends on things like who was in the study and how the research was done.
