QuestionAnswer
What is conscience? Refers to the whole person, body, mind and soul, and intellect, trying to make judgements about right and wrong.
What is moral truth? A moral truth is the idea that some statements are objectively true or false, regardless of personal opinion or cultural beliefs.
What are values? Values are individual beliefs that motivate people to act one way or another. Can be based off of culture, or experience.
Stage 1 This is where a person makes choices because of a fear of punishment.
Stage 2 A persons choices are motivated by what they will get out of it.
Stage 3 A person acts according to the need to be liked and to gain approval.
Stage 4 A person acts according to what his said by someone or something which has been accepted as a higher authority, such as the law.
Stage 5 A person makes a decision based on the consensus of society or the group about issue.
Stage 6 A person the decision based off the demands of justice.
