QuestionAnswer
Absolute value A number’s distance from 0 on a number line; never negative
Opposite numbers Numbers that are the same distance from 0 on a number line but in opposite directions have the same numeral, but opposite signs
Claim a statement that something is true or false; can be proven with reasons and evidence and can be disproven with counter examples
Counterexapmple an example that opposes or proves that an idea or claim is incorrect
Notation system of symbols or characters used to represent information
