TermDefinition
Coral reef A reef made up of a fragment of corals, coral sands, algal and other organic deposits and the solid limestone resulting from their consolidation.
Invasive species An organism that is no indigenous to a particular area, typically disrupting the existing ecosystem.
Buffer zone A neutral area serving to separate powerful countries or those that are hostile to each other
Shatter belt A region where political alliances are constantly splintering and fracturing based on ethnicity
Sweatshops Workplaces characterized by poor working conditions, long hours, low wages, and often unsafe environments.
Ice Sheet A massive layer of ice that covers a large area of land
