| Natural Selection | The process by which the elements favor survival of specific traits |

| Gender Role | A pattern of behavior that define a gender in a culture |
| Gender Identity | Someone’s personal sense of gender identity, apart from sex |
| Gender Typing | Expectations about people based on their gender |
| Genotype | The set of genes that someone carries |
| Phenotype | The set of genes that someone visually has |
