Community Question

QuestionAnswer
Stakeholder Engagement Involves collaborating with key players in the community to gather insights and support for various initiatives. It is NOT specifically aimed at identifying strengths.
Community Advocacy? Involves effort to influence decision making or bring attention to issues, typically focusing on policy change or resource allocation, It does not directly identify the existing strengths within a community.
Asset Mapping Identifying strengths of a community because it focuses specifically on identifying the assets that already exist within the community.
Surveying the Community Surveying can help gather opinions, needs, and data from community members, but it is more often used to assess issues or challenges. It is not focused solely on identifying strengths, which makes it less effective for the specific purpose.
What is advocate Someone who speaks up on behalf of individuals or groups who may face barriers, discrimination, or injustice. Advocate works to ensure that the rights, need, and interest of vulnerable or margined population are recognized, respected, and addressed
what IS FACILITOR Ensures all participation have opportunities to voice their concerns and help manage discussions, even when disagreement arise. Facilitates role is to maintain neutrality, promote dialogue-and foster communication between groups.
What is lobbyist Someone who seeks to influence policy makers directly to enact specific legislation. SW role is facilitating discussion.
What is Agitator Someone who disrupts the status quo to provoke change, often through confrontational tactics.
