SENTENCE TYPES
| Question | Answer |

| INDEPENDENT CLAUSE | Can stand by itself or with a dependent. Expresses a complete thought. Subject-Predictie (no conjunction). |
| DEPENDENT CLAUSE | Cannot stand by itself. Do not express a complete thought. Conjuction + Subject+ Predicite. |
| SIMPLE SENTENCE | Consists or a single, independent clause that includes a subject and a verb. |
| COMPOUND SENTENCE | Joins two independent clauses with the help of a comma and a coordinating conjuction or just a semicolon. |
| COMPLEX SENTENCE | A single independent clause and a dependent clause, will always contain a subordinate conjuction. |
| COMPOUND-COMPLEX SENTENCE | Combines two or more independent clauses with at least one dependent clause. |
