QuestionAnswer
alliteration repetition of initial sounds in neighboring words. Example "It is the happy heart that breaks." (h's repeat)
antonym opposite in meaning to another word. Example "hot" and "cold".
style (author's) the characteristics of a work that reflects its author's distinctive way of writing
round character character with more complete description than a flat character
flat character character with less importance in the story; not clearly characterized or described
context clue information from the textual setting that helps identify a word or help with understanding
epic long narrative poem
