QuestionAnswer
Complex sentence a sentence with a ind clause and a conjunction
Compound sentence A sentence with two ind clause with a comma
complex-compound sentence A sentence with both ind dep clauses
Simple sentence A sentence without a clause.
Independent clause Can stand alone by its self a complete thought with no con junction
Dependent clause Cannot stand alone by it self
FANBOYS Each letter stand for a conjugation
