kingdom the largest group into which an organism can be classified
species a group of similar organisms in a genus that can reproduce more of there own kind
vertebrate an animal that has a back bone
invertebrate an animal that doesn't have a back bone
asymmetrical something cannot be divided into mirror images
radial symmetry a body plan in which all body parts of an organism are arranged around a central point
bilateral symmetry a body plan in which an organism can be divided along only one plane of it's body to produce two mirror images
monotreme a mammal that lays eggs
marsupial a mammal in which the female has a pouch where offspring develop after birth
placental mammal a mammal whose young develope in the mothers body
