Vocabulary on the PSAT and SAT are “Big” words
The words have Multiple reasons
Grammar is tested on part 1 of the PSAt/SAT through Editing and revising questions the right answers are based on grammer rules
Khan academy top five grammar rules are 1. Subject-verb agreement 2. Pronoun-antecedent agreement 3. Verb forms keep the same tense (past present or future) as the rest of the text 4. Subject-modifier placement (a noun and its modifier need to be next to each other 5. Plurals vs possessive
Singular possessive noun Require an apostrophe followed by an “s”
Pronouns never use Apostrophe on a pronoun
It’s means It is
Its mean Possessive
Vocab in context-two types 1 the word is in the sentence 2 there is a blank in the sentence
Edit and revise based on grammer rules suck as Blank in the sentence-conforms to the convention of standard English
Main idea vs detail Overall vs one part
Author’s purpose A purpose and a fact
Rhetorical synthesis Series of bulleted notes about one topic
