| Bare Hand | Method of working on extra-high and ultra-high voltages. accomplished by bonding to the line to become the same potential as the line. |
| Chain hoist | uses such as pulling guys, lifting heavy wire, sagging transmission lines, splicing wire on transmission wire. Used to put sleeves in the wire |
| Hot hoist | Used to sag wire, y block wire, or install sleeves in energized distribution primary and secondary circuits |
