QuestionAnswer
Accreditation Being qualified to perform an activity
Approval allowing to do something
Certification evidence that an individual has demonstrated proficiency in a particular area of practice
Continuing education units (CEUs) Provide updates on new information, regulations, and techniques. Have to complete these to remain certified.
informed consent A patient must be informed of intended treatments and their risks before they're performed
phlebotomy The practice of drawing blood
protected health information (PHI) Includes any info about the patient's name, address, contact info, race, health status, treatment, or payment plan
